THE ASPIRATIONS TEAM
Jacyntha moved to NZ in 2017 to pursue her Bachelor of Arts (Psychology/Anthropology) at University of Canterbury. Jacyntha is naturally driven by her passion to live in a diverse and inclusive society. Having seen the effects caused by the scarcity of available training resources for people with learning disabilities, she aspires to advocate change in society through the programme.

Jess studies Bachelor of Law & Bachelor of Arts (Political Science and International Relations/Maori and Indigenous Studies) at University of Canterbury. Jess’s sister Georgia has Down Syndrome and seeing the way that this has limited opportunities for her to gain interesting, meaningful employment inspired her to create change. Jess is passionate about creating better opportunities for people with learning disabilites and advocating inclusion in society.
